i'm not sure if this is the right place for this, move as needed.

i'm thinking about going into dietetics, it involves almost everything i'm interested in. i'm just wondering if anybody out there has gone through a program for this, what they thought of it, and what kind of work they've found available for it.

any help is appreciated
thanks

This would probably get better answers in education and careers (or whatever CO&U has been renamed)

Sorry, I dont know anything about it so I cant really offer you an answer.

haha for a second I thought the post said diuretics. :)

Heh, I thought that it was dianetics, and was getting ready to administer a full-on anti-Scientology rant.

I don't know about where you are, but I know that in Canada to become a registered dietician you need to complete a degree program in what is essentially the Canada Food Guide, which is in turn about 80% bullshit.

To become a nutritionist is easier, more evidence-based (rather than the highly political dietician curriculum), and more flexible, but unfortunately you wind up being paid much less in the long run.
